On 06/06/2022, the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Republic of Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) with the counterpart unit from Saudi Arabia (SAFIU). This MoU was signed during a visit of the SAFIU delegation to Kosovo on 06/06/2022.
This memorandum is signed in the spirit of cooperation and mutual interest, and is intended to facilitate the exchange of information to assist the investigation of suspected money laundering, related criminal offenses and terrorist financing, as well as for the purpose of disseminating of information which may ultimately result in investigations and prosecutions by the competent authorities in their respective countries, within the framework of the national legislation in force in each country.
